Oy is by far and the best. I have read and listened to the Dark Tower numerous times but always dread the final chapters with Oy, Jake and Roland because I know what an emotional train wreck I will become.

It's fiction and I do like a good Superhero movie but please realise they are not making a movie to please the "purists" if that were the case it would never get made. This type of movie should be accessible to all, so having relatable scenes (although to the extreme) is essential to build audience appreciation of what the character is going through. Who would want to watch a movie devoid of jeapordy, not me. Looking forward to the release.

Anyone who takes a critics view and decides to skip something whether it is a movie, book or any form of art/entertainment is doing a disservice to themselves.

Everything is subjective and when a critic makes a critique it is their opinion and theirs alone, not yours or mine.

I never and I do mean never, let anyone make my mind up for me. This means I have had some great experiences and also some dire experiences but they have all been my choices and not some (I know what you should like) critics choice.
