I believe that this is similar to what happened with Scorseses statements , I mean the problem is real that the endless remakes sequels etc are destroying originality ,it's just sometimes it's put forward ina way that pisses off everybody 😶

Haven't watched yj but I have watched sharp objects , and while it was enjoyable acting in retrospect it was too boring, i mean I might sound uncultured and stuff but there is a way to bring in suspense and a little more thrills without losing that intimate town portrait that SO was going for , I enjoyed amy's acting though
