I had a idea of tying the Cheers Bar into a Nostalgic episode of Frasier since the new iteration is located in Boston, but that's as far as I think it could go. My idea even included some of the original Cheers gang. Yes, I do think the adult bar scene has been done to death over the years in various forms of tv shows, but if a revamp of Cheers took place, British or not, you'd have to get some of the old barstool sitters back together to make it feel right. I feel they are all too old now to do all the swinging in the bar they used too, it may not seem quite right. Not sure I'm ready to see the door swing open and have everyone yell "Norm" to a 70+year old, even if he sits on the exact same bar stool.

Seeing how this story does indeed rely heavily on the character of Aragorn, I think no one else can do it but Viggo. He played the character for the three original movies, so he has the knowledge of Aragorn that someone just thrust into the role would not. Also judging by many other actors from the origonal LOTR trilogy that seem to be on board, the band could once again get back together. Never say never. ($$$$$$)
