I Knew Ellie & Dina Had Feelings For Each Other In The Last Of Us, But I Did Not Expect Their Relationship To Reach THAT Level So Soon
Love Dina. Loved her in Alien: Romulus, too. Hate Bella as Ellie. But to disagree with one of the other replies: if you think they're adding woke stuff, then you didn't play the game. TLOU has been woke since the first game, but they really aired it out in part 2. It's a lot of what got the hate back then.
I Knew Ellie & Dina Had Feelings For Each Other In The Last Of Us, But I Did Not Expect Their Relationship To Reach THAT Level So Soon
Yet another article by either someone with no business writing, or an AI doing what it was told. Ellie and Dina "start" their relationship before Joel's death in the game, so it's late in the show. To not know that and still write about it is ignorance at its absolute finest.
I Just Realized X-Men In Avengers: Doomsday Creates A Really Weird MCU Problem
I'd point this out: there were no "unknown" names on the chairs. We're getting OG Xmen for sure, but nothing says they are the only versions of them we're getting. Also, Endgame shot us 5 years ahead in time. I would expect Secret Wars to do something similar, which will allow time for the MCU to backfill histories/origins as needed.
I Still Can’t Believe Marvel Basically Confirmed That The Guardians Of The Galaxy Would’ve Won The Avengers’ First Movie Effortlessly
I was about to post the same thing. The Avengers never had to worry about Ronan because he was too scared to come back after Captain Marvel tore his fleet to shreds.
The Wheel Of Time Finally Reveals Moiraine's Fate: How It Changes Her Book Story
Too bad your feelings can't influence the books, then. The Morraine/Suiane love story is way overblown in the show. In the books, they were "pillow friends" as novices. Morraine ends up with Thom, casting aside her girlish curiosities and ending up with the man who came for her when she needed him rather than the pricklish "fish-wife" who turned on her.
The Wheel Of Time Season 3, Episode 8 Review: I Was Disappointed By The Finale's Half-Finished Stories & Baffling Decisions Despite Interesting Cliffhangers
4 words of advice before writing a review of The Wheel of Time: Try reading the books.
Understand this series is not meant for you if you don't know the source material. Even the actors comment on how dedicated they are to seeing the show reflect the books as closely as this new medium will allow. Make no mistake: the only viewers whose opinions matter are those of us who have yearned for this adaptation for decades. Now, turn off your laptop and go crack a book.
So, Deadpool & Wolverine Lied About The End Of Fox's X-Men Universe
Tell us you don't understand the multiverse and variants in less than 1,000 words next time, please.
10 MCU Characters I'm Worried Are Most Likely To Die In Avengers: Doomsday & Avengers: Secret Wars
In the original secret wars, it took a team up between the heroes and (most of) the villains to finally unsent The Beyonder so they could return from BattleWorld, so the idea is far from a bad one.
After Reading What Nomura Thinks About Cloud Loving Tifa Or Aerith, I Totally Agree With Him
It's actually a little worse, because the author isn't giving any consideration to Aerith's feelings. Cloud is channeling Zack pretty much until he falls into the lifestream. It's that Zack part which so intrigues Aerith. Advent Children is also considered Canon, in which Cloud is with Tifa, and Aerith and Zack are together in the afterlife.
My Most Anticipated Game Of 2024 Ended Up Being The Biggest Disappointment Of The Year
Like so much of Rebirth, the chores have a reward, if you complete them. None of them are wasted time. Completing each region gives an awesome payoff with Chadley. The protorelic hunts result in some of the hardest fights in the game against pairs of your awakened summoning materia, before a final clash with Gilgamesh. You get to see flashbacks of how Barrett's version of Avalanche came to be. You get to catch up with the other Avalanche people introduced in Integrade. Heck, you can even run in to Leslie as he hunts for his girl and face off with Don Corneo and his goons one last time in the desert. It's all worth it, from beating the Shadow Queen to opening up the level 3 limit breaks. You just gotta commit.
"Streaming Has Had A Big Problem With Epic Fantasy": Author Brandon Sanderson Weighs In On Fantasy TV, Cites Rings Of Power & Wheel Of Time As Disappointments
Moraine and Suian were "pillow friends" in the books. She just hasn't met Thom yet in the show, but he becomes her "straight" love interest.
Plus, they had to age the cast so they won't show as much aging over their 8 planned seasons. In the books, only about 2 years through the entire series.
39 Years Later, Marvel's First-Ever Movie Is Still One Of The Weirdest Parts of The Franchise's Entire History
I think a lot comes down to expectation. I saw Howard in the theater as a young teen and loved it. I'd never read a Howard comic, so I didn't know enough to be mad about the movie ignoring Canon.
It was entertaining, and that's all that mattered.
It's 39 years old now (God, where has the time gone?) So, young people today will probably say it looks its age and won't give it a try. But, it's good for a laugh.
I took Madame Web the same way. It was billed and built as a psychological thriller, and it did a good job in that regard. Like The Marvels before it, it was far better than what was reported. We need to stop worrying about what critics (professional complainers) say and be more open to giving things a chance. We certainly need to move away from loud-mouthed YouTubers who see politics in everything.
Howard the Duck was corny but fun. Madame Web suffered because it was tied to the MCU via Sony, but was still a decent movie. And The Marvels deserved a lot more love than it got.
