To be honest, the best they can do is to rewrite the story from all over again because this one is really so bad. But what can make it really interesting is that they can keep the start of the story until the episode of when Sasuke and Boruto could back in time and met Naruto when he was young with Jiraya. At this episode they can take a different turn. Like to change something in the past too, save the Uchiha, save all the people who died in wars, prevent the war, just make a massive change and a plot twist. That would be amazing in my opinion.
