Actually a lot of these actors could have been good in the roles they were cast in, but the scripts for those characters were awful. Clooney could have been a good Batman and even Schwarzenegger could have been good if the movie were not campy but a more serious take. Halle could have been good as Catwoman but again the script was terrible. If they hadn't let Jared Leto go crazy with his take on the Joker it might not have been so bad. Less style more substance.

Never understood the popularity of Smallville. It was an okay monster of the week show that happened to have Superman in it. Sure Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum were great but the show tried to shoehorn in too much Superman history before he even becomes Superman.
