I'm not too sure yet about their choice of Snape. Paapa Essiedu could have been cast into any number of roles, but Snape doesn't feel right. Alan Rickman brought a sense of mystery and gravitas to the role that I think will be impossible to recreate.
I'll reserve final judgement on that for when I get to see the show next year.
