See AllAfter Marvel's Avengers: Doomsday Cast Reveal, I Understand Why No Original X-Men Were In Deadpool & Wolverine
I waited, for Batman 89, then for the first X-Men, then first class, then iron Man, This, and every big budget marvel and DC owning with bated breath- edge of my seat, years and years, white hairs and all lol
But this... This.
Do not let us down.
Dungeons & Dragons Has To Solve Its Controversial Drow Problem Before A Legend Of Drizzt TV Show Can Be Made
I can't stand it here. The drow are drow, orcs are orcs, this isn't real life. Why can't things simply be what they are? I'm sorry, but drow are not of African or European or descent, they aren't Asian, they are NOT real.
Neither are half the issues cancel culture melts down about though, so there's that.
A Dungeons & Dragons Dragonlance TV Show Could Deliver On 1 Of Game Of Thrones' Coolest Underused Concepts
I've been aching for some great creative minds to bring true D&D creatures, characters, and lore to either big or small screen since the days of the awful Hannah Barbera Saturday morning thing.
The first movie was terrible, but "honor among.." really lit the optimism candle for me- just don't go with the old stereotypes and lowest common denominator stuff intended to sell toys to kids.
People aren't dumb, give us real storylines, character arcs and intrigue. Hell start with animated shorts on YouTube and build something. I'll take "the test of the twins" or any one of the dragonlance character origins to start and I'm not even the biggest fan of that realm.
Truth is, if you build it ...
A Dungeons & Dragons Show Based On This 40-Year-Old Setting Would Be As Hard To Watch As House Of The Dragon
Yeah cuz we're all so jaded and disappointed and this would be a terrible thing- they don't understand how we're able to decide for ourselves what disappoints-PLOT TWIST- this writers lack of optimism, and kind of condescending attitude of is a lil disappointing lol
A Dungeons & Dragons Show Based On This 40-Year-Old Setting Would Be As Hard To Watch As House Of The Dragon
Even as a 42 year player 25 of them very dedicated to playing, I read the first of the series and one or two of the saga books over the years but always seemed to be reading horror and sci Fi, and creating homegrown campaigns and the proprietary DND stuff never appealed to me as a dm. However I've been told over the years two or three times that this was locked in as a cinematic event a few times. First I ever heard was animation by Pixar, then a four part mega movie was supposed to be made by Disney and the last I heard was me itting that I made up those rumors out of wishful thinking since the first time I ever saw the books sitting on the shelf in Walden all those years ago..
HERE'S TOB WISHFUL THINKING AND THE RISE OF RAISLIN - BUT-
Who would play HIM??? ooohhhh...hmmmm
