If you didn't know, the movie is based on the book. In the book the whole topic and point was about the chaos theory which entails that you can't control something or predict something 100% because there are too many variables that will change outcome. Crichton used dinosaurs as an example of that. You very redundantly said the dinosaurs were not accurate... Which is the whole point. The dinosaurs were NOT SUPPOSED to be accurate because their DNA was spliced with amphibious DNA.

And of course there will be sizing differences for dinos from book to movie because they need the movie to be visually appealing AND there is so many animatronics being used. It's not all CGI.
