I'm with you. I'm hoping it's good but it seems like he wants to put too big of his or just a different stamp on this movie than the previous. So If you expect disappointment, then you can never really get disappointed is where I'm at right now.

I liked it, hope there's a season 2 but I'm a sucker for Jedi's and lightsabers. That being said the plot with Leia wasn't thought out to me because it doesn't make sense in the timeline. Spending that much time with someone who rescues you from kidnapping should leave an imprint on your memory but I'm a that message she sends in a New Hope sounds like they've never met before.

This was the Luke I've been waiting for 30 years to see and was expecting to see in the last trilogy but instead got some bastardized version that didn't resemble my childhood hero at all.
