If they bring bay back, they're going to lose a huge chunk of the fanbase. And by that I mean actual transformers fans. Because not only do fans of transformers who engage with other parts of the franchise (ie, the cartoons, the comics, the games, ect...) hate the bay movies, it feels obvious that bay himself hates the franchise and the actual fans!
