As far as I can tell although mostly speaking personally there is need or want for a Back to the Future Remake, please leave the trilogy alone it holds up today as much as it did onwards from 1985, it's not broken and definitely not woken It's a treasured series that helped define a particular moment in time and any attempt to capture the magic is bound to end in failure Instead put efforts into making something new for a change not simply trying to cash in on something that's been done before, there are literally an infinite supply of books crying out to be adapted to the big screen try starting there, eh?
