See AllSuits LA's Cancellation Isn't Surprising If You What Killed Suits
I’m so glad Suits continued on after PJA left. The show had to adapt after his departure but I still loved it. I loved the Darvey drama of season eight. I thought they did a great job of exploring deeper stories of Harvey after Gina left.
The Harvey Mike dynamic was definitely the magical draw. But it never would’ve been without the magic of Harvey’s character…which was definitely strong and magnetic enough to carry the show after Mike left.
My biggest beef was season nine because it was so sloppily rushed and thrown together (kind of like Suits LA).
The characters didn’t really seem themselves in S9 but I was still really thankful for it to resolve all the story arcs that we’d been so faithful to for eight seasons. I just wish it would have done more justice to the characters they spent so long developing in such nuanced ways to close it out.
Suits LA was a painful disappointment that I wanted so badly to love. It was always a Herculean task to follow up Suits, but it didn’t seem like they even tried in any serious way.
I give it to Amell for having the balls to try. Really got to give it to him. He didn’t have almost any good ing cast or good writing.
Amanda and Kevin were all he had to work with IMO. I agree with the article, really don’t think anyone could follow Macht’s Harvey character but they gave this poor guy nothing to work with. Macht had nothing but outstanding ing cast.
I’ll continue to rewatch and enjoy the OG Suits.
REALLY hoping the rewatch podcast comes back!! 🙏🏼
Suits LA Episode 10 Review: I Really Wanted To Love This Show, But I Can't Ignore How Pointless Everything Is With No Clear Focus
This article is spot on. I really wanted to love this show too but it’s so all over the board with no cohesive storytelling at all. The acting is so flat, meh, and plain bad.
Just when I think a character is FINALLY starting to develop, they act opposite in the next scene or next episode. Just when I think they’re FINALLY setting up an arc, they completely negate it. It’s literally frustrating to watch this show for this reason.
It’s almost like they’re intentionally jerking the audience around and is highly annoying. The characters are completely annoying and unlikable.
I liked Erica in the beginning but no more. I’ve bought into Ted a couple times only to have it yanked away and immediately neutralized. It really is hard to believe Aaron Korsh wrote this and the original Suits.
It feels like this is what happens when something is produced for nothing but a money grab with no artistic substance whatsoever: writing, casting, acting.
I committed to watch the full season. I’m so addicted to Suits, I really wanted a new one to enjoy. I hope it’s canceled to save me from torturing myself trying to give S2 another chance.

What happened to Jackie’s kid? Did they ever explain that one away?
The Conners Ending & Dan’s Final Line Explained By EPs: “It Felt Like An Anti-Sitcom Episode”
Grew up on it. Always loved it for its realism and honesty. Was so thrilled to experience the reboot in my middle age with the same (middle aged) kids who were kids like me when I was growing up.
I cried watching it too. So sad that it’s over. I’ll definitely miss it. Really thankful they didn’t hit a fake windfall to betray its legacy for truth telling and accurately representing the working class.
so grateful to the amazing, talented cast and writers.
Who Is Billy Miller & Why Is Suits LA Episode 9 Dedicated To Him?
I was sad about the Marcus character but absolutely devastated to learn of the actor’s actual death.
I lost my only big brother to bipolar and suicide. I was gutted to learn of Billy Miller’s tragic death. I had no idea until learning of it today. I can’t shake it. 😢
Suits LA Episode 9 Review: The Best Episode Of The Season So Far Is Still Gearing Up For What Promises To Be A Lackluster Finale
Totally agree the show feels completely disorganized and disorienting with no real hook. Even for the couple good episodes, 9 being the best so far.
Having Harvey in it for longer than a blink and you miss it amount of time (like the first two cameo appearances) definitely added to the appeal, humor and wit. What stood out even more to me, though, was how lackluster (overall) even Harvey’s appearance was.
The banter was there but delivery just didn’t land like it always did in the original. The chemistry, the flow, the believability just completely absent.
It shocked me that even with Gabriel it still felt jilted, forced and manufactured.
Ted definitely had his best moments and interactions possibly showing the necessity of quality actors to play off of (Gabriel, actor who playsKevin and his old DA boss). It’s still not enough to draw us in or care given the disted story telling, constant ending of plots only half built and the flat overall delivery of everything.
