This isn't really a comparison. Naruto was the only one really committed to Sasuke in that arc, partly thanks to the promise he made to Sakura. The other's were just completing a mission and Kishimoto gave them each chapters to solidify their own goals.

This article's complaint is more that they're annoyingly connecting everything she does or says to Boruto. Even Part II Naruto was different in this regard. Outside of the arcs where they actually met, Kishimoto would just take moments to remind readers what Naruto's overarching goal was (before becoming Hokage) and then have him focused on the events of that arc outside of such. He even had large stretches where he wasn't focused on Sasuke at all, like when he was learning Sage Mode and dealing with Pain.

On the other hand, they got Sarada talking about Boruto when she's with Shika, Sumire, and others. She can't use her MS without being reminded of Boruto. She's a prodigy with incredible resources, but is made to look like Princess Peach so she can be saved by Boruto. It's just too much.
