It's a matter of personal preference obviously, but the opening scene of Covenant is as close to genius as anything gets. David's belief in his own perfection - his choice of name and relishing "The Nativity. By Pierro Della Francisca" tell us everything we need to know about his character. Then, on E challenged by his creator "a little anaemic without the full orchestra" he determines it's better to rule in hell than serve in heaven.
