Who wrote this article? The multiple Neos theory is unworkable. It would make sense if the entire matrix was a simulated reality, i.e. if Neo, and everyone else, were sentient programs like Smith, the Oracle, etc. Instead, it is a Neural Cybernetic Prison. Neo is a human with a corporeal body outside the matrix. So he would age in the real world. Assuming, as I think the trilogy indicates, that the various iterations of the matrix were over the 200 years between 1999 and 2199, his physical body would not be available for the previous iterations.
