She's not going get the goodwill if her version of Narnia includes a female Aslan. Doing that will immediately ensure it's a colossal failure. If she does any race swaps as well, that will doom it. Lastly, if she downplays the religious aspects then it's instantly D.O.A. Narnia fans are extremely worried, as they should be.

As soon as they changed the Doctor to woman I was out. Then they changed his race so I am still out. The Doctor is a white male character. If you want to create a show with a female main character and a black male main character go ahead. If it's good, I may watch. I always interpreted "A Limit on Those Things" as being the seven Dwarfs from Snow White. He captured all 7 when he was limited to only 6. I think my interpretation is far funnier.
