I am just happy that Denzel Washington remains relevant and active as he is the finest example we have of a man who walks the walk and talks the talk with integrity and unflinching honesty. He is one of maybe 2 actors whose opinion and thoughts I actually care to hear because I know great thought and thorough vetting  went into them before he opens his mouth to express them. A man of integrity and honest grit in Hollywood in 2025? Yes- there is at least one I am aware of……..

Celebrities should be humble and stay in their own arena. I think Matt Damon is fine and versatile actor- one of the best of the last 30 years. He should make an excellent lead in this Greek epic brought to film. What I do not want to know is his politics whether left, right or center. In fact I do not want or care to know any celebrity politics or deep philosophical thoughts. They must come realize that their active participation alienates more voters than it attracts and therefore we end up with horrible leadership at our most desperate of times over the last 37 years. Let me enjoy your performances and don’t try to influence me with your political bent unless you want to buy me coffee and sit down individually with me for 4 hours carefully lay out your thoughts and beliefs in great detail. You cause more resentment and more damage to the integrity of the political process by saber rattling from Hollywood than if you would just stick to your craft which you excel at. Once again I repeat this goes for left , right and center.

Billy Bob Thornton is far and away the most iconic American actor of his generation & I doubt he gives a ^*+*that I say that. He doesn’t play characters, he wears them and they become him and not vice versa.  If he took a dump in a scene it would be the most authentic dump you ever watched. He smokes heavily, he dresses weird & he probably acts just to his music habit-but that doesn’t mean he ain’t the most iconic American actor out there because he is by a million miles…..
