When you realize RR just wants to pull an intentional Miura so his series can live in guaranteed mythological legend status for never being completed due to it's author's death versus the potential of delivering a subpar finale that will have it redefine the quality of the entire series and thusly force it to live in infamy as happened to the show, it's a lot easier to cope with the fact that you're never getting that ending.

I feel like the "Evil Superman trope" haters are intentionally obtuse. You can't understand WHY it's such an intriguing concept? Have you heard of this little thing called Christianity? God and the devil? Ring any bells? When you have a concept of "all good", it is almost automatic to explore "all evil". It's also tied into the weird Zack Snyder hate stuff which is just getting cringe atp but the evil-version-of-superhero trope will never disappear. Stop crying about it. You have plenty of purity Superman comics to read.

All WB would need to do is say "look Zack, w/o itting fault, this all got messed up. We don't like our split fan base. We make 100 garbage tier movies every year, we can spare the cash if you just need 2 movies to finish, tell us what you need to do it? If you can't get it off the ground, tell us what you'd want to do to finish it next" but that will never happen because Gunn is an ego maniac and won't even allow a Superman show to continue, let alone a Justice League elseworlds to run congruent with his. I just have no respect for how Gunn plays studio politics. He talks out of both sides of his mouth. Maybe if he was gone, we could see the day, but with him there, I don't think so.
