Gilmore Girls was a different version of the show Maybary RFD & Andy Griffin. My daughter tried to get me to watch when it first came out but the cadence of Lorelei’s speech pattern was annoying so I didn’t watch. I started watching the reruns and got hooked for some reason. I did think it ironic at the time that Rory’s reputation and much loved status didn’t exactly have merit based on her behavior. She seemed lost in her sense of caring concern for others feelings. But, in reality, we’re all like that sometimes.
