5 Reasons Tim Allen's Shifting Gears Reviews Are So Bad
The first 2 episodes of Shifting Gears would have played better if the laugh track were completely removed. It's very annoying to hear laughter for lines or moments that are just plain unfunny.
Writing comedy without leaning on canned laughter is tough, and the writers of this show will have to up their game.
The actors will then be given a chance to act, rather than reciting lines in stop-motion.
I'll give this show 2 more episodes. Without substantial improvement, those will be the last two episodes of the show that I watch.
