Man, Zabka’s (Johnny’s) final confrontation and reconciliation with Kreese choked me up. I’d have to say, that was the first real display of believable acting range I’ve seen from him that wasn’t in relation to complete anger. Wasn’t expecting that emotional hurt to come out of him like that.

This is one of those movies, that put will put your man card on the table among a few other titles (Godfather I&II, forgiven if part III has been forgotten or unseen, Scarface, Casino, etc., etc). I really hoped and thought they would give Val a spin off Doc Holiday movie. It’s criminal he didn’t have more scenes, but when he did, every part Val did was memorable, from facial expressions to dialogue. RIP Vale

I feel like “From” derives from iterations of Faust. Except the entire town is Faustian having traded their souls for immortality and knowledge. The man in yellow could be the devil or Mephistophiles who warns of consequences of Fausts choices.
