Daima was actually pretty good, but very lazy narrative writing. It doesn't fit anywhere within the Dragon Ball timeline. If we did not see Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta, then we would be able to place it somewhere, but we can't. Those forms were never seen before, so commonality would put it after Dragon Ball Super, except they did not use their God forms in the demon realm (which they would have as they were getting whooped). Unless it is stated that God ki is unavailable in the demon realm....
