Additionally, two factors must be taken into regarding this:
The bad reputation Disney has received in recent years with some of its adaptations.
The second, and this is the most important, is that at this point, the Power Rangers Universe is already established, and doing a reboot is above all risky, dangerous, considering how much it would cost to do everything from scratch. If it turns out to be a failure, there will be many drastic decisions to be made. Also, what if each season is a reboot (soft reboot) of the franchise since it doesn't feature the same characters?
I'm not against reboots. There are some I've liked, like Thundercats from 2011 or DuckTales from 2017. But I think doing it with a franchise with a long history isn't a good idea.

I think if they want to do something original, they should make an animated series like the DCU's Creature Commando, it's an animation but it's set in the same universe as the movies.

Although a reboot sounds tempting, at this point in the game it's a very, very risky and dangerous idea since there's an already established story or continuity, and rebooting everything is like throwing it all away. Power Rangers is like an already established MCU, and doing a reboot isn't very advisable at this point.
It's best if they make original stories that respect continuity, and if they want to do something new, they should make an animated series set in the same universe as the DCU's Creature Commandos. It's an animation but set in the movie universe.
