That's what makes South Park so great though, Matt & Trey didn't become the richest content creators in comedy by caving to people's demands/expectations.. season 1 ended on a massive cliffhanger figuring out who Cartman's biological father is, and fans were absolutely livid when season 2 made no mention of it.. so they kept it a mystery until season 14
