See AllAfter Neil Newbon’s Comments About Recasting Astarion, I’m Convinced Baldur’s Gate 4 Could Only Bring Back BG3 Characters In One Way
Strange that a company would want to move on to another IP, particularly an original one? Should be more strange that when a game is successful we just expect a studio to just milk it until the mob wants their heads mounted on a wall... Maybe those expectations are what's actually strange here.
It's Not A Plot Hole: Why Voldemort Didn't Hide His Horcruxes Using Harry Potter's Fidelius Charm
You can't be your own secret keeper if you yourself are the secret being protected. He maybe could have been the secret keeper for the specific locations and not the Horcruxes themselves (though idk how many secrets one person can keep), but then there's the problem of tying the secret to the soul of the person. Voldemort couldn't do that because his soul was broken. Basically just reinforces that he weakened himself by trying to strengthen himself in many ways.
I Finally Started Watching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, And My One Critique Isn't What You'd Expect
I don't think this is a take I've ever heard on the difference between Brotherhood and the 2003 anime. Don't agree since the overall narrative was far less complex in the 2003 series but I can agree there's definitely some additional character work between Ed and Al because there was a lot of filler. So that's definitely fair assessment.
Obi-Wan Kenobi Could Have Changed Anakin's Fate With This One Small Act, And It Makes Revenge Of The Sith Even More Tragic
Part of the problem is in that scene on Mustafar you reference. Obi-Wan saw Anakin as a brother-in-arms. He saw them as equals. He could relate to some of Anakin's struggles (he had a love too, after all). Anakin didn't see it that way though. Anakin wanted and needed a father figure or an older mentor to look up to. Anakin was never going to get from Obi-Wan what he wanted. I think Obi-Wan also realizes this when it's far too late, which is why he's telling him he's proud of him the last time he actually sees Anakin. The next time he sees him, he's already Darth Vader even if he's not in the suit yet.
The Real Reason Albus Was Sorted Into Slytherin In Harry Potter & The Cursed Child
It's only a play / book, not a film.
I Still Think Riker Behaved Unprofessionally When Star Trek: TNG Replaced Captain Picard
And for an officer that has an exemplary record to that point, a court marital would say just as much about your command as it does about him. He may be insubordinate, but YOU are the commander. Ultimately you are responsible for everything that happens on your ship and his behavior is just as much a reflection on your leadership as it is on him personally. Court martial of your first officer (one that's highly regarded by the Starfleet brass) right after you take command wouldn't be good for you either as the CO. In fact, it could very likely backfire. I'd think more carefully about such an overreaction.
