Tom king isn't the worst and he doesn't break characters. He shows what was already broken. Batman was a damaged orphan, Mister Miracle was always a survivor of trauma, Supergirl was always an outsider searching for purpose. He just makes characters more human. Tom king (who also worked for Marvel and DC) is also more popular, has more awards (2 Eisner awards), has more critically acclaimed runs, and written more popular characters than Jeremy Adams (Only for DC)( Green lantern,The Flash) who has no awards. So I don't think Jeremy Adams is leagues above him in the comic industry
