Did we watch the same movie? It was literally sonic that convinced Shadow. If you took Sonic out of it the whole movie would fall apart. The whole thing compared both hedgehogs. And Amy's relationship should be sonic centric. Don't just assume they will do Sonic dirty.

Why even compare the two? The movies have their own universe. They are meant to be different. They borrowed things from two games for shadow and made a cohesive origin that lines up with the films. They literally couldn't copy and paste it directly. Movies are much smaller than the games.
