The real tragedy of Nick is that he would do anything to not feel like a loser. He had told June that before Gilead he was a nobody. He couldn't let go of tying his self-worth into the evil regime, and that couldn't be overridden even by his love for June. In the end he didn't have enough love for himself or his fellow man and ultimately that caused his demise. Lawrence's redemption was so moving, I didn't expect it and I actually cried a bit for him. He's the hope that some people can make a better choice.

Totally agree! Allowing Lydia and Serena to have redemption arcs is basically going soft on the women. They were basically the architects of all of this misery just as much as the men!
