...oook....also, his name is spelled Geordi...so many errors in these comments... ... also, "Kringous" .... and "Cleons" ... they are KLINGONS .... makes me wonder if these people JUST STARTED watching Star Trek
Beloved 90s Sci-Fi Show Star Pitches Reboot Idea (With One Caveat)
Ok firstly... what does SyFy being NBC have to do with anything? The author of the article said FOX wanted more action. I was simply pointing out that after season 2, FOX CANCELLED the show and it was then picked up for THREE more seasons by SyFy which was probably why they took the new direction with the show in season 3 in the first place. .... Secondly, you (@Gina) obviously know nothing. Jerry O'Connell, Sabrina Lloyd, Kari Wuhrer, Charlie O'Connell, Robert Floyd and Tembi Locke are all in their 50's.... do you know how many of your action movie stars are older than that and still going strong? John Rhys-Davies and Cleavant Derricks were in their 40s and 50s when they were originally on the show. John Rhys-Davies is STILL doing stuff and oh just to clear things up, NONE of the cast are in wheelchairs...just saying. Get off this thread.
Beloved 90s Sci-Fi Show Star Pitches Reboot Idea (With One Caveat)
As long as they bring Maggie back. No Wade. I think the first THREE seasons were the best. Season four and five were when the show started losing ground for me. I liked Maggie a lot. She was a strong character that the show needed. She brought to the show what Sabrina Lloyd could not/did not. That is why Sabrina got mad and had issues with Kari Wuhrer. It was not Kari's fault that she was brought in to vamp up the show because Sabrina Lloyd was lacking...but that's how Sabrina saw it. I'm honestly glad that Wade got written out, she was more annoying than anything. And yes, I am a TRUE FAN of Sliders. I am 41. I started watching it on Fox when it came out in the 90's. ... and by the way... to the author, just a quick note...Sliders only came on FOX for the first 2 seasons. Then it was dropped and picked up by SyFy Channel....I think you mean SyFy pushed for more action oriented episodes....

Buffy the Vampire Slayer takes place in SUNNYDALE (with a D) .... Sunnydale is a fictional place... in this article you said Buffy took place in fictional Sunnyvale... you are wrong... also, Sunnyvale is a REAL city.
Star Trek Doesn’t Have A Christmas Special, But These 4 Episodes Are The Next Best Thing
Ummm... Am I the only Trek fan that re Star Trek's ACTUAL Christmas offering? Star Trek: Generations... Any TRUE Trek fan knows that Generations IS the Star Trek Christmas movie. It is only for a brief few moments, however, once drawn into the Nexus - Capt. Picard sits by the Christmas tree, spending time with his "family" ... the little girl thanks her "PaPa" for her doll... then his nephew Rene walks up and wishes him "Merry Christmas, Uncle" ...then a few minutes later, Picard sees the Amargosa Star exploding in the ornament on the tree and realizes he is in the Nexus.... but hey, what do I know? As the article writer said, Star Trek never did any kind of Christmas edition....
