I am looking forward to the next season of Dr Who and, like a lot of people, felt that bringing Sutekh back was great but, was still left wanting more from the reveal, it's consequences and ultimately the resolution itself.

I am hoping that when Ncuti Gatwa's Doctor says 'We might have to go the long way round' is a call back to William Hartnell's and the Peter Capaldi eras.

In "The Doctors Wife', (Matt Smiths incarnation), there was a scene where the Doctor was complaining that the Tardis/Idris never took him where he wanted to go, to which Idris replied, :But I always took you where you NEEDED to go".

I am hoping against hope, that this is what Ncuti means by 'The Long Way Round' in the clip. Another thing that I feel gives creedence to this is the fact that during the Christmas Special, Joy to the World(s), the TARDIS materialised as it has done normally pre the 15th Doctor.

The one storyline that I hope is a surprising reveal (one with an audible gasp), and has an exciting resolution, is the question that has been in nearly every Dr Who's fans mind - ' WHO IS MRS FLOOD ?'

There's so very many theories floating about and a lot of them do make sense. I just hope RTD has thrown us a real 'curve ball' .

It's also interesting to note that Steven Moffat has read the script for the last one or two episodes...............🤨
