It’s the back-up story in the new Giant Size X-Men #1 that’s about to come out. Y’know, the one everyone’s complaining about it shoe horning Ms. Marvel into classic X-Men stories.

Okay, there is so much that is wrong with with this article (aside from the grammatical errors and obvious typos)…. For the sake of brevity (and my sanity) I just want to touch on 2 of the most glaring issues.

Up first- Dewey and Sid DID keep in touch. Dewey’s insistence to the contrary was their cover story to discourage anyone from trying to use him to get to Sidney.

Second- this film involves a large time jump. One of the actresses playing one of Sid’s daughters is in her late teens. She has clearly known her husband for longer than a decade at this point

The ironic thing here is, an argument could be made that the first woke companion was actually Sarah Jane. If not her, then definitely Ace. “Woke” is just the new buzzword for socially aware and progressive behavior in defiance of social norms or biases, anyhow. IDK why everyone is so scared of that.

I’m pretty sure that, other than the O5 and Morrison’s New X-Men (and arguably Xtreme X-Men), the flagship team never wore matching uniforms for any significant period of time. A couple of issues of an arc if at all, ever since the O5 ditched theirs…
