Not a moment too late. The books were rubbish so with a TV series that was even more rubbish I am not surprised at all, just that it survived this long.

I hope that:
A. It is Tleilaxu that have manipulated Desmond. Any other explanation would not make sense.
B. The blue eyes were NOT the machine we saw in the final episode. When we see them in the first episode, they have pupils. On the last, they do not.
C. They explain how the frikk Dorotea/Lila could access the hidden tunnel so easily.

Stilgar was totally not good in the second. Loved his portrayal in the first. Denis could've made him serious but still funny, like Duncan. Now he felt like a bad comedic relief.

HotD is RUBBISH. Shallow and uninteresting characters. Dragons are extremely boring and the "Targaryen dominance" mentioned in the original series did not reflect in this. I would not compare the two, totally different series.
