Yes well, most people realize 'movies' and real life to be two different things..You wouldn't, for instance, confuse actors shooting up bad guys on screen with an actual mad man murdering a class full of 7 year olds. This may be why Mr. Neeson can play with props in films, and at the same time, favor gun safety in real life.

I doubt most of us would see a contradiction there.
