DCU's suit looks like cos play at Six Flags. I'm not a fan of the inspired New 52 suit. However, the 52 suit didn't have trunks. Ever! If you're going to do trunks, then keep it classic. The suit should be tight. What was the point of David working out if we can't see the payoff with him in the suit?

The author failed to mention Cavill's suit in Black Adam! That suit had the brighter colors,. Plus, Cavill was rocking the iconic spit curl correctly, unlike Brandon Routh.

The only issue I had with the Cavill suit was that the cape was too long.

Corenswet's trunks shouldn't be like shorts. That's what makes it worse. The idea that Gunn was trying to bring all the elements of Superman's legacy in this design is NOT working. I feel bad for Corenswet

Cavill's boots were more comic book accurate in design too.
