10 Greatest Anime From Toei Animation of All Time, Ranked
Nah, DBZ is much better imo.
Star Wars' Best TV Show Just Fixed The Force, After George Lucas Broke It 26 Years Ago
"Part of what made Luke Skywalker and the entire original trilogy so popular was the fact that anyone could imagine they had the ability to become Luke Skywalker, because he truly felt like an average person who fell into incredible circumstances."
Anyone who thought that didn't pay attention to the original movies. Perhaps his character felt like this but not his actual circumstances nor the actual facts of the matter in the OT. His situation is less average person who fell into incredible circumstances than special person who discovered his special lineage. Like or hate the idea, that was the case in OT. The prequels merely expanded it.
Obi-Wan told Luke his father was a really strong Jedi in the original movie and this was true. As a premise it was there in the beginning.
In Episode 5 Obi-Wan and Yoda emphasized how him and Leia are their last hope. And in Episode 6, Luke says the Force runs strong in his family.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with this btw. Some people are going to be talented than others in some things. That's what made people like Han Solo special, he aas an actual nobody with no powers, who while not being able to best the Force people one on one, was also able to become a hero. The real lesson is, you don't need the Force to become a hero.
15 Major Realizations I Had Watching Revenge Of The Sith's 20th Anniversary On The Big Screen
Personally I find that to be the best part of the prequels.

Yes, it's argubly the best Star Wars book written. Being able to hear Anakin's thoughts really enchances the story.
8 Anime Cliffhangers That Will Go Down in History As the Greatest of All Time
How Code Geass Season 1 cliffhanger isn't part of this is beyond me. It left us hanging for almost a year while also having extremely high stakes on a lot of things.
Netflix's Next Live-Action Anime Wants to Bring a New Kind of Adaptation to Life, But Will It Land?
Cos it's a Japanese live action adaptation, not a Western one.
Netflix's Next Live-Action Anime Wants to Bring a New Kind of Adaptation to Life, But Will It Land?
As a fan of the original manga, looking forward to this despite it probably won't be good. Never thought I'd see a relatilively niche series like Kakegurui get a Western adaptation.
As Someone Who Never Played The Last Of Us, I Don't Understand The Abby Outrage Despite What She Did
It wasn't just that the context in which the murder happened but also what didn't happen later. If it was a simple choice between Joel and Abby, most of us would choose Joel.
Lucasfilm Boss Kathleen Kennedy Addresses Those Persistent Retirement Rumors, Insists She's "Not Going Anywhere"
Yep.
Breath Of The Wild On Switch 2 Is Proof Nintendo Doesn't Understand Its Fans Anymore
"Even disregarding that, the fact that Nintendo is charging $70 for BOTW on Switch 2, a game that came out in 2016 and looks only marginally better on the new console, and $20 for the DLC, is egregious. "
Nintendo charges $60 (which was full price for that console) for their Wii U Remasters back in Switch 1, I don't see this as any different. Whether you like or hate this policy, this is not a new policy so using your logic Nintendo never understood its fans back in the Switch 1 days either. Nintendo charging full prices and not doing lower prices of even it's older games is not new either. I'm not saying that's good for the consumer but again not a new policy by them. They've always spoken out againts the practice of devaluing games by having sales so often by other publishers.
Also this article's "look only marginally better" is ignoring the 60fps part. Visual wise 60fps is a huge difference to the experience than 30fps.
I have problems with this release, however it's really not $70 but rather than the "cartridge" of this Switch 2 Edition will not contain the Switch 2 version of the game inside it and must be ed. That is the nonsense by Nintendo for this.
It's Been 7 Years Since Throne Of Glass Ended, And I'm Still Sad We Never Got One Aelin Romance With So Much Potential
Everyone is everyone else's distant cousins.

Agreed, Dorian and her had much more potential. Rowan's romance was given time but feels more like a forced predestined thing.
Also Celaena was better.

I Love the Pokémon Anime, But I Have 10 Unpopular Opinions About It I Will Defend To My Grave
8) The problem wasn't that Lusamine was an antagonist, but rather how she was handled in the anime. The article even notes that she was a great villain in the games. If they wanted to make her a good antagonist, they needed to handle her from the start differently than they did.
Digimon Adventure's Abandoned Sequel Was The True Follow-up Fans Deserve
Kizuna was great. Cried everytime I watch it due to the feels of that ending.
"Everything On This Planet Would Have Been Destroyed Eons Ago Already": Despite The Science-Heavy Themes In Game Of Thrones Creators' Netflix Show, Astrophysicist Points Out The Space Inaccuracies
So he gave a scenario in a video game where people float in the air unrealistic. Seems unfair.
I also find it strange that he gave Interstellar a 9/10 in scientific accuracy. I super love Interstellar and it is no joke my top film of all time but the time dilation effects there are pretty exaggerated for the amount of gravity on Miller's planet/ other locations even after ing for the black hole rotating very fast. I find it strange he would have a problem with the floating in a video game depiction but not with that. It is very much in his astrophysicist ballpark.
10 Anime That Were So Close to Greatness Before They Fumbled the Bag
I know I'm in the minority, but I preferred the original FMA to Brotherhood. In the latter, I more or less was rooting againts the Elric Brothers later in the series.

Don't know why Kirito and Asuna (Sword Art Online) are on the cover when they were never published on Dragon Magazine, the magazine that is being halted. The only relationship is their part of the same large conglomerate.
