Good riddance is pretty standard for a punk band. Punk lead singers are usually sappy little вisнеs and most albums (before the pop punk revolution in the late 90s) have a slower song about how they are either in love or how they were in love. (KERPLUNK, Green days last full punk album, had two such songs, the first two tracks).

And let's be clear, the song is ENTIRELY sarcasm. He does NOT hope she had the time of her life. He is being a shallow diск about the whole situation. It's all right there in the name of the song... Good riddance.

Its actually kinda funny when you hear it played at graduations. People think because it's all melancholy and nostalgic because he's playing an acoustic guitar without a backing band. But to be clear, this is punk music and the message of the song is that the girl can go fцrск off.

Of course that's what they meant. Calm down Crystal, take a deep breath and find your happy place.

It was funny. A pretty girl on a list of hairy old men. You just don't see that very often.

It's meh. I watched it when it was on tv. It's corny and the writing/dialog is bad. And the main character (the smart guy running the team) is possibly even more self absorbed than Sheldon Cooper on the big bang theory. But with none of the charisma. You just end up wanting to punch him most of the time.

Imagine a team full of unlikable macgyvers. That's scorpion.

It's not bad exactly, but it's definitely not good.
