Don't forget that the last 3 editions were stale due to putting work into developing the new game 3 years later nothing. A years loss of income for the developer will also affect future installments

Jumanji. On completion and winning the game Jumanji everything that happens from the first roll to the end all happened winning only reset the timeline but not the experiences of the time in the game. If they had forgotten about the kids it would mean forgetting everything happening and would end with them getting ready to pay the game again. If you watch back you can also see at that the kids seem to recognise them aswell. This part you could argue makes no sense as the kids never played the game in the new timeline.

So does this mean that we can no longer make movies with villains because they might offend? Isn't this the point of a villain?

Jafar marrying Jasmine would not have been an issue when the story is set, would you rather change historical accuracy to stop offence? Wouldn't the real issue be that a 15 yo girl being forced to marry someone by her father?
