10 Comedies That Are Considered Masterpieces
How could he miss adding one of the most hilarious, star packed comedy movies of all time?..... It's a Mad Mad Mad World! It had practically every well known comedian of their time, in the world! Jonathan Winters, Phil Silvers, Mickey Rooney, Sid Ceaser, Terry Thomas, did I say Jonathan Winters (he deserves multiple mentions!), Jim Backus, Ethel Merman, Spencer Tracey, Arnold Stang, and soooo many more I've forgotten. This movie was the absolute classic comedy movie of all time!
“What An Epic Movie This Could Be”: James Wan Names The Stephen King Book That’s “The Only One” Left For Him To Adapt
DO NOT REMAKE THE STAND💯‼‼🤬 The original 1990s version was absolutely PERFECT! Every actor in it is absolutely 100000000% perfect for their roles, PERIOD‼
Instead, why not make a movie based on the TALISMAN series of books⁉⁉⁉ Would still give him a storyline/script sort of similar to The Stand, but would be his own entire brand new movie that's not been made yet. A perfect win/win for us ALL💯‼👍👍👍
Stephen King's Anthology First Fixes The Biggest Problem With The Stand's Ending, 47 Years Later
I so absolutely agree with you. That first, original miniseries was the best! I've watched it many times now, and love every character in it. And the actors chosen were absolutely perfect! While watching that new version? I just can't get into it, cause I keep WANTING to see the original cast instead. Especially the original (from the old TV series Coach) Tom Cullins M O O N spells Tom! And screw Whoopsie Goldfart as Mother Abigail, the original lady was the BEST!
Fringe’s Perfect Sci-Fi Replacement Was This 2-Season Time Travel Show With 100% On Rotten Tomatoes
OMG, Travelers! That series was awesome! So sad it too had been canceled. Interesting the author mentioned Sliders! That too was a great series as well!
Rhenzy Feliz Addresses That Major Character Death In The Penguin Finale [SPOILERS]
Was absolutely a massive gut punch from out of nowhere! But it also made me feel like that's the last time I will ever watch this show, even if new seasons come.
FYI I grew up watching the original TV show (with Adam West), and it was more faithful to the original comics. But now it's been turned into a deep, dark pit. Far from the original creator's intentions.
Stephen King's Best Non-Horror Book Is The Perfect Introduction To A Totally Different Genre
Christina, I too had that original The Stand recorded on VHS and later DVD. That version is one of my all time favorites ever! And I still try to watch it once a year!
Stephen King's Best Non-Horror Book Is The Perfect Introduction To A Totally Different Genre
I absolutely agree with Sarah, the Talisman series of books is absolutely awesome! But I didn't know it was also connected to the Tower series?
7 Ways Stephen King's The Stand Is Connected To The Dark Tower
How dare you use the Pic of whoopy goldfart as Mother Abigail! She is absolutely horrible! The original Mother Abigail in the first miniseries was perfect! In fact, that whole first series was the best one made! I've watched that show multiple times now, it is one of my most favorite shows ever made! I could barely watch that newer one! Even if it were more faithful to the book, it didn't work for me as the original one did. I felt genuine care for the original characters (and their actors).
How To Read Stephen King's Dark Tower Books & Stories In Order (Chronologically & By Publication Date)
It's been many years since I last read it. But does the Talisman series of books have any tie-ins with the Tower stories?
And if you haven't read the Talisman series, you are in for a real treat then!
Mike Flanagan's 87% RT Show From 3 Years Ago Was Already The Greatest Salem's Lot Remake We've Had In 45 Years
Why is it that Hollywood is constantly only making nothing but *remakes* of old movies, when there are millions of NEW stories to use, like the ones I mentioned above! Imagine a series on Wilson's "Midnight Mass"? Or his Repairman Jack series? Or Graham Masterson's Dream Warriors, or the Manitou? Though Manitou was made into an old B rated movie years ago with Tony Curtis in it as "The Great Erskine", a sleazy "medium".
Mike Flanagan's 87% RT Show From 3 Years Ago Was Already The Greatest Salem's Lot Remake We've Had In 45 Years
Actually the original Midnight Mass was written by F Paul Wilson and released in 2004. All of Europe, india, most of Asia, and the major cities of America have been taken over by vampires. An ex Catholic priest, his niece, a Rabbi, and a quite interesting well armed Nun fight back against the vampires. It is a very deep, dark novel, that is absolutely hard to put down! Sadly it had been (attempted) made into a movie, but was poorly done, as bad as the cheap fake knockoffs typically made by Asylum and shown on the old SyFy channel. So it was a total failure.
If you are not familiar with F Paul Wilson? He wrote the original book that the old movie "The Keep" was loosely based on. He also wrote the awesome "Repairman Jack" series of supernatural type books, that are absolutely must reads!
Imagine how excited I was when I heard Flanigan was making the "Midnight Mass" series on Netflix! Then the sad disappointment it wasn't the same Wilson's version! PLEASE SOMEONE? Flanigan? Why not make some of Wilson's stories into movies or series? Or Graham Masterson's stories on the Dream Warriors, or his Manitou series too!
New Entry In Gerard Butler's $523 Million Action Franchise Is Different From The Mike Banning Movies 1 Major Way
She was definitely fun/awesome in The Umbrella Academy! 👍❤💯‼
