I think they forgot that the humans dehydrating and floating were just in a simulation. The other beings do not look like humans and they were only represented like that so that the humans could understand the problem they were faced with on their home planet. So the science could still be entirely accurate if their species was able to dehydrate or float right?? Or am I wrong?
