Elsbeth
I have really grown to love this show and the dynamic of the three leads. I loved watching Carrie in "Claws", and I was so happy to see her find this new role which sees her headlining "Elsbeth". Personally, I think it's a little too early to start shaking up the cast, but I'm neither a writer nor studio executive.

9-1-1
This show has become a staple for me, and I was so happy when it was picked up by ABC, especially after the cancelation of 9-1-1 Lone Star. In the eight years that I have watched the growth of characters that at times could become a little bit judgmental and ridged. But the relationship between Athena and Bobby showed how two people of such different backgrounds could become the anchor of the entire series. But like real life, loss comes while many of us are unprepared. How in the world will the 118 go on? How much more can these characters take? What will this mean for the show and the actors who play these awesome people? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Reacher
This season of Reacher was so much better than season 2 in a variety of ways. I liked the fact that Paulie got the best of Reacher at least before their final confrontation. I wished they could have kept Paulie around for at least the start of season 4 (I know; blank canvas for new characters to dip their brushes in). Paulie was the best physical threat since Odd Job in "Goldfinger". It made Reacher more relatable because it showed he wasn't invincible. I hope the next literal Big Bad is just as imposing.

Doctor Odyssey
I really hope ABC sticks with this show. Yes, there's room for improvement, but almost every show needs to find its "sea legs" (sorry; I couldn't resist). This show has potential but needs to get rid of the clutter. I'm not prude, but the threescore probably didn't have the effect the show was going for. The network poured a lot of money into the shows aesthetics; now it's time to build characters that are worthy of the vessel they will sail on. Keep Don Johnson and Joshua Jackson. Have Avery and Tristan marry on the ship and leave. Let the doctor and captain lock horns about replacements. Start fresh and earn the 10/10 rating and save this show.

1923
When I watched 1883 back in 2022, I think I ed a lot of other viewers who hadn't seen "Yellowstone". But the story was so good and the acting so real, I knew I had to come back for another visit with the Duttons. The acting is more mature and subtle in 1923, thanks to the powerful performances from its leads. I feel Dame Helen Mirren has carried the show so far on her formidable shoulders; you can see and feel the love she has for her home and family. Timothy Dalton has managed to make me cringe and turn away at times, so great is his performance. His character is vicious and evil, and there is not one good thing about him. Taylor Sheridan needs to roll out one more set of episodes (maybe from 1953) and bring everyone still present up to date.

The Rookie
So happy with the last few episodes of this dynamic show (and glad "if I'm lying, I'm dying" rookie being shown the door). I have a theory about who this sinister "Big Bad" is. If you will , DA Chris began to follow Rosilyn Dyer while he was in recovery after Rosilyn slashed his wrist. Then he seemed to be showing signs that he was listening to her via that one group member who was formed to discuss theories about her whereabouts. Lucy figured out who one of the group was and that it was Rosiyn toying with them. Next, Lucy broke his heart by dumping him. I think Chris is Zozo and the former rookie is one of his accomplices, setting up something dire. Who's to say Seth isn't Rosilyn Dyer's son and he is out for revenge as much as Chris is? The writers were very clever, weaving Seth's stort around Lucy to garner her sympathy? Interestingly, he never was able to gain her trust

See AllThe Rookie Season 7, Episode 15 Review: I'm Annoyed By The Execution Of Tim & Lucy's Long-Awaited Talk But Happy About 1 Villain's Future
If you go into the documentary episodes that "The Rookie" likes to sprinkle their seasons with by using an open mind, they work 90% of the time. The other 10% is just gratuitous. These episodes bring out the softer side of Tim and Nyla, which are prickly at best. There were some good moments in this episode, but there were plot holes you could drive a truck through.
The Rookie Season 7 Has Promoted One New Cast Member To Series Regular In New Update
I think the addition of Miles Penn on "The Rookie" is going to open up and shine the light on a growing problem that is affecting so many: he is a good rookie and has given Tim Bradford something else to focus on besides Lucy. Miles living out of his car (in Smittyville) touches on an issue facing many hard-working people who cannot get permanent housing. He was a "golden boy" who was going to make it to the pros, that he didn't, made his preconceived world crumble. I like this character and can't wait to see what the writers toss his way.
Here's How 9-1-1 Could Have Easily Saved Bobby From Dying (And It Makes His Death More Insulting)
Yes, I think they basically threw this person at us (I really thought she was Monica Stephen's from "The Rookie" scheming to try yet another get-rich angle. It messed with my head a little because the character from "The Rookie" also has no morals. What happened to the rat that was brought back to life from death's door? Couldn't something be done with its blood to at least give Bobby a fighting chance? Bobby's death wasn't ultimately necessar, and just hurt. Bobby Nash was the heart and soul of this show.
Athena's Final Decision In 9-1-1 Season 8, Episode 15 Makes Bobby's Tragic Fate Worse
For a brief moment, I was thinking the writers were going to pull a "Dallas" trick and have Athena wake up from a fever dream and seeing Bobby sitting at her bedside. Nope!! I cried messy tears and didn't care who heard me; why was this necessary? This meaningless death is going to come back to bite the entire show. ((Sniff))
How The Next Yellowstone Prequel Can Bring Alex Back After Her Tragic Season 2 Finale Fate Pitched By Spencer Actor
This scenario was more than I could have expected. If you really want a curve ball, how about Alex's friend who tried to help her get to America during Part 2's episode, following the journey taken by her dear friend, but without all the suffering poor Alex went through? SHE could be the widow that Spencer "takes comfort from" and has a child with? Alex could influence Spencer in his dreams and with great affection steers them towards each other?
1923 Season 2 Finale Review: I Finally Understood The Shocking Reason Why Spencer Didn't Arrive Sooner In Devastating Series Finale
I felt numb after watching the finale of Season 2 last night. Taylor Sheridan does a great job when it comes to creating characters that we come to care about, and this time he out-did himself, but not always in a good way. But in the end, all the boxes were checked, and the future was made for the surviving Duttons.
