Westerns usually get their weapons ethics from samurai stories (The Good The Bad and The Ugly is pretty much a direct lift of Kurosawa's Yojimbo), and for samurai, wielding two swords at once was taboo. But that taboo was occasionally broken by mavericks like Musashi.

I like superheroes. And I like Garth Ennis. You have got to develop a thicker skin than getting butthurt because a writer doesn't like superheroes. Not everybody likes superheroes. An opinion is an opinion, get over it.

You're assuming the time dilation is consistent, which would be a factor of physics. But it's the afterlife, physics wouldn't apply or be expected to remain consistent, because it's not physical in the same way our dimension is. It works however the writers need it to work.
