Kevin Costner has been and always will be one of my favorite actors. I’ve loved every movie he’s done. I’ve seen them all more than twice. Some I tend to watch religiously. Open Range is one of the greatest westerns ever made. The cinematography alone is enough to categorize it as such. The problem isn’t with Kevin Costner it’s with an audience who would rather see CG or “reality tv” than actual historical events, good stories, old sentiments and a dying art. Costner creates EPIC cinema, reminiscent of a silver screen and actors that had to have skills and talent. Capra, Ford, Costner
