The Penguin is actually good enough to stand on it's own without Batman...although knowing he isn't going to swing in and save the day is a bit anticlimactic . Kind of wish i hadn't read this article . The reimagining of the Penguin from a corrupt aristocrat to a captain in the Falcone crime family that tries to double cross his way to the top is compelling and unique and Colin Ferrell picks up right where he left off and delivers in his portrayal .
