It's important to point out that this kind of writing is very difficult unless the author has a strong sense of their own storytelling and characters. Newer writers may fall into pandering and lose sight of the plot in their pursuit of audience satisfaction. Like all aspects of writing, loops are best used meaningfully and in moderation, and should never overwhelm the story itself.

Why The DCU Has An Older Batman (But Younger Superman)
The batman actor was older but I think the characters were supposed to be relatively the same age. They were both played as older and more jaded
