By the time the movie takes place in real life, Fort Bridger was already owned by the mormons, and they had paid $8000 to Bridger for it, and then it was burned down to prevent the army from obtaining it.

So it wouldn't have even existed by the timeline depicted in the movie.

they also showed brigham young in the middle of nowhere with a group of mormons, when in reality, it was hundreds of miles away in salt lake city, which had already been built up and established for ten years.

There were all kinds of known facts that were just completely changed for no good reason

95 percent of it is all made up and they went out of their way to not just make up history, but then tmakeup atrocities that never happened being depicted by one dimensional villains who are mormons, that belong in a comic book, the whole thing was ridiculous.
