Rop started bad but i liked the Annatar and forging of the rings plot. I think the show is heading to a good place. Im really intrigued about how they will choose the ring wraiths, the sinking of numenor, and the eventual final battle where isildur cuts saurons finger off. Amazon is likely counting on that and the fact lord of the rings probably has a bigger following than wheel of time. And that's why it wasn't chosen to be canceled (yet)
