See AllThe Rookie Season 7, Episode 16 Review: I'm Disappointed With Seth's Return, But I'm Even More Annoyed With Tim & Lucy's Lack Of Development
I genuinely think fans need to breathe. For Seth’ return and exit, it was fine and I like that they somewhat gave him a chance for self reflection and Nolan helped with that. The influencer story line was very needed especially cause it’s a reality in our world these days, I loved it. Also can Chenford fans breathe for a minute, the couple had 4 season to get their emotions right, they have always been the slow burn couple and it’s beautiful. Also, it’s not easy to give your heart out again when you get hurt by the one you love the most and I like that they are putting Lucy’ career over her relationship. Her clearing that out with Tim at the end was so good, I loved it. Cause everyone around her is growing and she needs more in her life than her relationship with Tim. I still think an honest conversation where Tim talks to her about everything he went through that could potentially come up later and shake him off again, I don’t blame Lucy for holding out, protecting her heart even when they have hooked up(still didn’t like that they did that), but she needs to know that she can trust her heart with him regardless of what comes next. Happy endings don’t get rushed, it’s a process and I like that it’s not being rushed cause people want to see it.

Thank you! The expectation to just rush up everything is somewhat sickening.
