See AllMobLand Season 1, Episode 7 Review: I'm Frustrated With How Many New Characters Played A Critical Role At The End Of This Episode
I will preface my point by stating I am a yank. I love Guy Ritchie and not a fan of Sheridan's Yellowstone franchise. I had high hopes for Mobland as it was at one point a vehicle for a Ray Donovan origin story. Ray Donovan's character is written so much better and uses a good mixture of intelligence and violence to get the job done while battling his inner demons. Harry's character seems fairly daft and is one dimensional. The action in Mobland is great and the acting for the most part is top notch but the way it is written, the Harrigans don't seem like they can organize a picnic much less a criminal organization. Everything just feels forced and obvious. Guy needs to go back to his notes on Lock, Stock and two smoking barrels, Snatch, Rocknrolla et cetera to get Mobland on the right track.
