Thanos does have the ability to use magic, he has mental powers, and can channel energy, we just didn’t see that in the MCU, either because Thanos never needed to employ them, or the writers decided they weren’t going to call on those aspects of Thanos’ abilities. While massive budgets for concurrent shows can be problematic if they aren’t successful, we’ve left out the main reasons for the failure of the acolyte - terrible, abysmal storytelling and showrunners plus stars going out of their way to tell the vast majority of Star Wars fans that the show isn’t for them, hateful comments towards the audience, slander and outright lies. When you engage in this kind of objectionable behavior and double down on it repeatedly, don’t complain when the audience you told to go kick rocks does not tune in. The audience is the real boss, disrespect them at your peril.
